Sorry for the noise  Smiley
It is possible (easy to make) in the Option menù select from the old ships icon and the new icon?
What about if each player can choise his own icon ships and colour? Yes colour.... a friend of mine is daltonian..... it will be nice to choise between more colours.
What about some items like "space portal" or "Hiperspace tunnel" to save ETA to the destination?
The "tunnel" can be shown  for a limited time 3\5 turns and after will close to be shown in another location,  random between limited locations in the map.
Also a "space clouds" like the rifts. Travelling the clouds the ETA will be the same or delayed up 1\2 turns.

I'm not sure why you'd want to use the old ship icon. It was ugly. Smiley  If you're really set on it, feel free to replace the files [Mayhem Intergalactic installation directory]\data\base\graphics\ship*.png with pictures of your choosing.

The colour comes with the ship design, I'm afraid. It would be more trouble than it's worth for me to render every combination of ship colour and design. In fact, I decided that making each colour of ship a unique shape would be a small positive step towards making the ships easier for colour-blind people to distinguish.

Perhaps I can tweak the existing colours to make them more easily distinguishable by people with colour-blindness though. Which ones in particular are problematic?

The ideas for various ways of modifying the ETA between destinations are not bad ones, but I probably won't have time to implement them I'm afraid.

Chris, thanks for the quick replay,
for the colour simply add some new colors, my friend "colour-blindness" is confused from grey, maroon and green BUT people "colour-blindness" has different noise with other colours.....so or add more colors or add nothing...
How is wide the   .png file?  I usually make my work with Illustrator.

I made different player's ships different shapes in version 1.2 to work around the colour-blindness problem. Is that not enough?

The ship graphics are 64x64 pixels, as you can see for yourself if you navigate to your Mayhem Intergalactic directory and then look in data\base\graphics.

The graphics can be given any image dimensions, really; the game will display them at the same size regardless of the image dimensions.

Ok I can work with any program and than save the file 64x64 pixels, to not slow the program.

I usually play with a friend, online or network, we play for 30min and at the end of the game we dont see the statistics, yes we know the winnwr but anything else, no number of planets for each player etc etc.

Yes, statistics don't display after networked games. That is an oversight on my part. Sorry.

I will add it to my bug list, though I can't promise that it will ever be fixed.
