hey, great little game you have here. been playing it everyday since i've got it.

found 2 minor bugs though:
once a planet is upgraded, it can't be upgraded the next turn, but if you accidentally try to upgrade it, the 'Upgrade' button fades and the 'Upgrade' option isn't available for all planets. However, clicking the faded 'Upgrade' button on upgradable planets still allows upgrades !

and in saving the game, it doesn't save the rally points of the planets !

----------------------------------------

also, there are a few bugs that i can't seem to always reproduce everytime:
the situation: big map; numerous planets; many movements;
at the move execution: repeatedly hitting the spacebar (at a fast rate) to skip all the action and at the end of the move execution, it sometimes gives the error of 2 ships orbiting one planet, but nothing seems to be a problem.
also, mashing the spacebar at move execution skipped a ship movement once for me... probably cos i'm mashing the spacebar  Grin

----------------------------------------

anyway, a few features i'd like to see:
* right-click and hold on mouse allows movement of map (makes navigating the planets faster)
* a dialog box showing how many turns it will take to move the ships to a planet after deciding the movement
* an option to skip all battle scenes (in the battle, not in the options)
* save the preferences for the map in custom game (hate having to set everything for a small variation of the previous game)

----------------------------------------

all i have right now. i hope it's all clear  Smiley

great game once again  Smiley

I've noted down all your bug reports and suggestions. At a minimum, the first two bugs you mentioned (the Upgrade button misbehaving and rally points not saving) will be fixed in the next update.

the situation: big map; numerous planets; many movements;
at the move execution: repeatedly hitting the spacebar (at a fast rate) to skip all the action and at the end of the move execution, it sometimes gives the error of 2 ships orbiting one planet, but nothing seems to be a problem.
If this happens again, could you please save the game before doing anything else, and send me the savefile? Thanks.

hey, thanks for the quick reply...hope the update will be out soon Smiley

but before then, i hope you can squeeze in two minor changes:
* a way to turn off chat in single player (unless you want to give us some cheats or console commands Wink)
* and make the text logs fade faster as they clutter up the screen when you skip the (numerous) ship movements with spacebar

when i have time, i'll play another epic battle and send you the savefiles, which will mostlikely be this weekend Cheesy

I believe I've fixed these bugs in my development copy; turns out they're related, at least under the scenario I managed to reproduce. New version out soon, containing lots of other improvements as well; watch this space!
