I also request a fix. Please allow this post to also represent my friend's request as well.

to clarify, the only annoying ones are the percentage kills one where you accumulate. since your constantly killing neutral ships, it constantly spams that your getting closer to the achievement, all 3 mind you.

Ugh. That is annoying. Either it's a new feature or it only just got enabled upon release for some reason, because I didn't see it in testing. Sorry about that.

I'll see about fixing it. In the meantime, there is a workaround - turn off Steam's in-game overlay. It's far from an ideal solution, but it will suppress the spam.

There should be some way in the achievement settings to only notify on every 50 or 100 points or so. That's how it works in TF2 for some of them. But I wouldn't have any idea how you would go about changing that.

I solved this problem by creating a huge map with 210 Neutral Worlds and a single AI planet.  I then proceeded to kill neutral planets until I finally got the Slayer Achievement.

I let the game sit then while the Achievement Spam flushed itself.  Took about ten minutes before it finally caught up.   Cheesy

Getting the Slaver achievement is also a good workaround! Smiley
