lol, its only been 5 days, give the guy a break.

I'm just asking. It's not like he NEEDS to answer. I actually don't know if this game has any development left in it or just bug fixing and that's it.

I do also wish that you'd give ME a break. You are attacking every post I make in this forum. Seriously!

What are you working on now?
3  Mayhem Intergalactic / General Mayhem / Re: Convoys and fleets and collective nouns, oh my! on: February 28, 2009, 10:38:32 am
Fleet is good based on the number of ships being sent.  Convoy is good for describing ships moved by the rally point though.  (i don't know why a theasarus is required for squadron, but that sends the image of a small number of ships, and really doesn't fit when your attacking with 800-1000 a turn)

I agree completely.

And, yes, squadron is just a small number.

lol, mayhem often doesn't require everyone to have the same version.

I wasn't referring to Mayhem. That's why I wrote "a multiplayer game".

Just as an update, this project hasn't died already. I've made a number of changes, but I am going to try and space out the updates a bit more as to give me more time to work on other projects and nobody likes having constant updates making the application they downloaded an hour ago obsolete.

I've also noticed a couple maps being put out using the editor so it's really cool to see some results.

Well, its not like a multiplayer game when everyone needs to have the same version to play. Nobody NEEDS to download every update anyway. But I'm sure they won't mind if the program they are using gets better. Just make sure that when you release a version, it has a reason for people to download it. That's my humble opinion.

Thanks for the editor.  Cheesy I also hope for the ability to zoom.
7  Mayhem Intergalactic / Features & Bugs / BUG v1.2.3: Number of unoccupied planets on: February 14, 2009, 06:24:55 pm
The number of unoccupied planets is incorrect with version 1.2.3.

Instead of 10 you get 9. Instead of 150 you get like around 50  Sad

Please fix it. Thanks!  Wink

Hey, I'm PLAYLIFE from Tallinn, Estonia. I'm working as an analyst in banking.

I spotted this game on sale on Steam, tried the demo and immediately bought it.  Grin
