Title: Numlock/numeric keypad acting up in game
Post by: sys2061 on January 25, 2009, 03:51:38 am
I've noticed that the numeric keypad sometimes behaves as if numlock is off, which means I can't use it to say how many ships to send somewhere.  I've tried turning numlock on and off, and the light does go on and off, but I'm still getting cursor movement when I want numbers.  Any ideas?

Good find. I can reliably reproduce this if I alt-tab out from the game (or change window focus using any other method) and then alt-tab back to it. Very odd.

I haven't been able to find a cause for this yet. It's on my bug list and will be investigated more closely later.

Fixed for next release. It was a side-effect of this bug fix in the latest version:

Fixed: Modifier keys (ctrl, alt) would sometimes get “stuck on” upon task-switches, causing an inability to type. (Reported by Sinfall.)
