Title: SDL_app: mahemig.exe - Application Error Post by: ShaneJackson on July 18, 2009, 11:26:00 pm I was so taken by the demo that I bought two copies plus one for a friend yesterday so that I could play against my son, and the game works fine on one of my XP machines, but on the other I get this:
1st screen Critical Error Access Violation 2nd screen SDL_app: mahemig.exe - Application Error The instruction at "0x5ed2aed8" referenced memory at "0x00000564". The memory could not be "read". Haven't seen that one before. This is the full version, I take it? The usual troubleshooting ideas are all I can immediately suggest - reinstalling the game, rebooting the computer, checking for viruses and spyware, temporarily disabling any intrusive software (http://www.inventivedingo.com/forums/index.php?topic=129.0). Is there anything unusual about that machine? You might also wish to look in %appdata%\MayhemIntergalactic for log files (just copy that italicised text straight into a My Computer address bar and press Enter). If none of the above work, I can send you a debug version to help track down the problem. |
