Beta testing
G'day! Inventive Dingo is not currently in need of beta testers. If you'd like to be informed when future beta testing opportunities do arise, read on...
How do I apply?
To apply to get on the beta testing list, send an email to contact-a-human@inventivedingo.com with the following information:
- An email address which you check regularly. Most communication will be done via email, so this is important.
- Any relevant testing/QA experience you have. (It's OK if you don't have any.)
Information needed at beta-testing time
Once testing starts, I will need beta testers to send me the following technical information to assist with hunting down system-specific bugs, such as compatibility issues:- For Windows: The output of the dxdiag tool on your system.
- To get this information: Click Start, then click Run. Type dxdiag and press enter. Once the tool finishes loading, click the Save All Information button and save the resulting text file to your desktop. Send me that file.
- For Linux and Mac OS X: The output of uname -a on your system, plus some basic technical details about your system (CPU specifications, video card brand and model number, amount of RAM, and anything else you think might be relevant).
- If you have multiple computers (or operating system installations) that you're willing to test on, send the above information for each computer (or OS).
